There are other ways of getting UK programmes, not sure I should mention the sites as they use P2P. So if you have broadband, a PC and are totally fed up with Oz television then drop me a line.

Better than having a friend/relative post videos/dvd's over.

Here is some good tv websites. I use regular.
My favourite sites are fanpop, dailmotion and alluc.org has great films.
All these links you can just click and watch, downloading to disc/computer is not needed.

Should keep you busy for a while! I watched, Lost, Heroes and Prison break before the UK! Currently keeping up with Dr Who using veoh. Im in non english speaking country at the moment. Hence big list of tv websites!

http://www.fanpop.com/channel/show/29

http://www7.alluc.org/alluc/ (films, tv shows)

http://www.veoh.com/browse/videos.html ( tv shows, films and Dr Who!)

http://www.dailymotion.com/gb (tv shows, films, very good)
