Hi All,
Was hoping to add missed years to my UK state pension via Class 2 NI contributions. Does anyone have any idea about the criteria "..working immediately before departure from the UK." What does this mean? The day, week before what?; otherwise its class 3 which are not cheap. Are they worth it in anybodies view? How would it affect the Oz old age pension? I know its not indexed here in Oz but it might change. Also the Oz pension is reduced when you move abroad. The UK one may offer us less reliance on the Oz pension ans super? Thoughts?
