What have other people done when it come's to getting an aussie driving licence? I hear that they take your UK licence is that true?

So will i be unable to hold both licence's???

No we took the Queensland 30 question theory test - got our new Queensland licences and still have our UK ones left untouched - not even stamped "Not Valid In Queensland" which someone suggested would happen. So no worries in Queensland - we`re going to change the addresses on ours to my mother in laws address in the UK and keep hold of them.

Even though it is a new start always handy to keep hold of the UK driving licence.

I also have to change my UK license but I have only been driving for 5 months so far (7 by the time we arrive).

DOes anything need to be adhered to by Ozzy law??

Will I have to take ANOTHER test !!!

IF YOU HAVN'T HELD A LICENSE FOR AT LEAST 12 MONTHS YOU WILL PROBERLY NEED TO RE SIT YOUR DRIVING TEST YOU CAN DRIVE FOR THREE MONTHS ON YOUR CURRENT LICENSE SO IT GIVES YOU TIME TO GET USED TO ROADS AND TAKE SOME LESSONS
