Default Uk no claims bonus

Does anyone know if a letter from your UK car insurance company, stating your no claims bonus will help when getting car insurance in Oz?

I have had a brief search to try and find any threads on this, just so I don't repeat a question that may have been asked a million times - couldn't find anything but if someone knows of an old thread that they can direct me to then great

Also if your a member of the RAC or AA in the U.K don't ditch your card in the departures lounge, you can [in QLD] just swap over you details and instantly become a member of the RACQ FOC. Also depending upon how long you have been a member you are awarded bronze silver or gold status which instantly gives you fixed discounts across their range of services including insurance.

Many Oz insurers don't even ask for a letter from the UK insurer - but *get* one: if you have a claim in a few years' time they may demand proof, and it would be difficult to get information from the UK then.
