Uk Credit report of any use?
Just wondering if anyone who has emigrated to Australia has found that it has/would have been useful to have a UK credit report, the sort of thing you can get from companies like Experian?
I'm just trying to prevent any issues when I move to Brisbane in Jan 2014, with being able to get credit/loans/leases etc if I have no financial history in Australia.
As ever, your experience on the ground / hindsight is always greatly appreciated.

Nope. Your credit history is reset to zero in Oz. But, getting on the credit ladder is fairly easy. Most banks happy to give credit cards and things to new migrants.

Yep, I agree. Don't bother. Credit will come easily enough once working etc...
