UK children's car seats
I am on a course this week with a guy who works for Britax...make Safe and Sound here in Oz.
He mentioned (as I asked!) that in comparison tests the Oz ones pass more stringent safety tests than the UK ones. Bearing in mind this co makes them for European market too.
The tether offers more protection in crash scenarios....
I thought this might be interesting to those who have argued that Oz seats are inferior to UK ones.

We have a Safe & Sound here in Australia. It's a lot more secure than the Graco we used in the UK. The wraparound tether strap makes a huge difference.
