UK>Brisbane via USA

Re: UK>Brisbane via USA
We went London to Brisbane via the US mainly for the extra baggage it gave you (2 x 32kg per person). It is a few extra hours in flight time but in the grand scheme of things its not a great deal more.
We broke up the flight by having a holiday in the US stopping off at San Francisco, Las Vegas and LA which was a great break.

We have just done it, it was okay but would advise a stop over in LA. We did Manchester - LA - Fiji - Auckland and then a 3 day break before Brisbane. It was a very long day i tell you!
We will not do it again, we only did it for the luggage, trips home will be via the usual route!! |
