UK to Australia travel adaptors
Hi peeps
My girlfriend and i head out to Sydney next week and need some advice. We have loads of electrical stuff that we are bringing all of which have uk plugs. Any ideas were I can pick up some travel adaptors from? Is it best to get them in the uk or wait till we get to Sydney?

Make sure you also bring some multi-plug powerboards. Many older Aussie houses have a dearth of powerpoints - mine for example has just ONE in the sitting room - absolutely insane - and also only one in each bedroom. Powerboards, and extension-lead spaghetti quickly become part of life.

You can get them both sides of the world, though I have to say the ones I bought in the UK seem a little more sturdy.

I picked a couple up from Asda to throw in my suitcase. If I remember right they were £1 each

Been here 3 years now and we still have a couple of 6 way(+one 4 way on the Christmas tree) UK adaptors with an Australian plug on. Oz plugs are about $3 from bunnings I think.
