UK to Aust and mortgage on arrival
Hello! I'm an Australian returning to the motherland from 15+ years in the UK. I've run a company for the past 8 years here, and then last year started a new company.
I'd like to get a mortgage upon arrival but am aware that this might be problematic seeing as I've recently landed and also don't have multiple years salary evidence due to the company change.
I'm wondering if there's anything I could do in the meantime to strength my position - I'm going to take an ABN eventually and move the UK company across in the longer term - perhaps do this sooner than later? Anything else to consider?
Otherwise I'm concerned I might just need to wait 2+ years until I have the salary evidence... even then, assuming if it's all UK salary that might be a problem... Would love any advice!
