Uk Appliances to Oz
Hi"
Just wondering if any of you have taken over a Uk purchased, built in oven (electric) and hob, to Oz? and if so any problems with connection/use etc. (We know any UK warranty would be void).
The ones we like are very expensive over there, so we thought to take them with us as can get much cheaper deal over here.
any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

No idea about the appliances but you 2 will be glad to hear the weather has now improved over here. Last week we had heavy rain for a constant 4 days.
Blue skies, no clouds and nice and warm today :-)

we have a house bought while ago, and the kitchen needs total refit (he's a joiner yippee! ) thats why we were asking
thanks for everyones input - we're gonna buy over there now, too frightened of being hammered with tax if they inspect our container.
Cheers Dave & Lynda
