They will all work, but.......
DVD is region 4 is Australia, UK is region 2
TV and Video will NOT pick up terrestial (aerial) TV stations.
You can take the video as a player only.
The TV will work from cable, satellite, DVD or video purchased in Australia and you can get the terrestial TV via the aerial through the Australian video recorder.

At least that is what I have been told!......

Sounds like I can bring the TV and Video but the DVD will not work.

Is the Digital TV cheap in Australia?

Bring the DVD player - you can still watch all of your UK DVDs on it. Otherwise unless you buy a multi region DVD player here, you wont be able to watch any DVDs that you bring over with you. Our video works to play videos but wont record. We didnt bring TV but bought a new widescreen one here and we subscribe to Foxtel which is $95 per month - tv is truly rubbish though, but without digital tv we would have only 5 appalling channels (now we have around 50 appalling channels ).
Actually it is good to be able to watch Sky news 24 hours.
