Yep, I don't believe there are miracle cures either, good advice from a qualified heath professional helps - GP, Naturopath, etc.

Then there is old fashioned common sense.

I am benefiting from a whole modification of lifestyle at the moment, the biggest benefit to me it the 1 hour walking per day.

I have lost weight without starving and feel a million bucks.

Get those legs moving .....

The barleygrass I believe has assisted to get me back on track. May not work for all, but then being different is half the fun.

So, if all you've read say that there are no side effects, and then all of a sudden you find that there are, are you just going to dismiss that? Of course there are side effects to alcohol,asprin,parecetamol,penecillin, anitibiotics, etc. because these are part of the medicine industry and have to be tested and reported on. They have also been around long enough for people to be aware of the side effects. I would be very wary of someone who has been spouting about the benefits of something for days without looking hard enough to see if there any side effects. If he had of done, he would have found what I found.

Sure there are loads of site that tell you that there are no reported side effects, but they are nearly all from health food stores of suppliers. Not surprising that there are no reported side effects. No one regulates it enough for them to be reported to!

Personally, if someone came up with a bit of information that there may be side effects, after I'd been told for days that there weren't any, I think I'd be thankful for the knowledge, not flippant.

Oh, and my glass? Is half full. But I look at things very carefully over the rim of it, though.

The industry is crapping itself because the EU is going to legislate natural supplements and hopefully prevent the lack of information emanating from the health food suppliers.

For a successful health food get a doctor with a silly name and come up with some disease it may help prevent.

Naming is all important eg herbal v is implying the stuff is like viagra.

Then plant a story in the papers about how this pill gave you 10 foot erections and transformed your marriage. It is all implied and the media love it. Much easier than having to disect medical trials.

[If you have a combined toilet and bathroom educate your bloke to putting the seat down before flushing.If you don't then microscopic pieses of poo will end up on everything in the bathroom including your tooth brush.


Ive only just trained my hubby to "sit & stay" now ive got to teach him to put the loo seat down !!

Seriously though, it sounds like an new wives tail to me. Microscopic poo? Bacteria maybe, but this comes from the water and toilet. These will spread with the seat up or down.... just my thoughts.

sorry, getting off topic.

I'm not a supplement taker, i'm not knocking it, but i've needed it. I'm fit and healthy enough on my current diet and exercise. If you exercise more and drink plenty of water your body will give you the same results.

When he was about 7 my brother was told in a biology lesson that farts are made up of particles of poo, so that when you smell a fart, you are really sucking up and smelling zillions of particles of poo. Needless to say he is a damaged young man now...

yes I think I took it when the naturapath thought I might be having headaches dur to the mercury from fillings. Its expensive!
