Trying to make friends in Perth area
 

Hi,we have been living here for 9 months.I am 30. i have moved here with the hubby who is nearly 40!!although his more of a 15 year old and our daughter who turned 2 in January.

We love a wine,Beer or two and just need a help in the right direction.
If anyone out there fancies a pint or two or a day coffee when the men work let me know.

There is a regular lunch meetup for the girls and their young kids at Hillary's marina. Take a look at the Hillary's Meetup thread for details. I went when I was visiting Perth a couple of weeks ago and they were all really lovely. Made me feel very welcome.

There is also a meet up in The Boat, Mindarie on a Tuesday lunch time but you might find it a bit far..........you would be more than welcome to join us though:)

Oh, that's even closer to where I'm going. Have to tell the old man that I'll be lunching with the ladies twice per week.

Hi just incase you cant find the Hillarys thread - We meet every thusrday from 12pm onwards, kids welcome, we meet at the Quay Cafe and have a bunch of tables reserved, if in doubt ask one of the staff and they will point you in our direction.

Hiya

sorry to jump in but i just spotted this thread, there are a few of us who all moved here Feb/Mar this year, we have met up a couple of times, there are a couple of people from Secret Harbour, one from Port Kennedy & I am from Warnbro, all have kids of various ages, we try & meet once a week for a coffee & chinwag (plenty of that goes on!) generally down at Rockingham foreshore area, we don't have a definate weekly time day thing as we are all still sorting work, schools etc, but you are very welcome to join us. It was Tallbloke (nikki) that originally started the ball rolling with her thread similar to yours.

PM me if you fancy coming along & you too clareh, there are also two more due to land in June to join our merry gang.
