Default Trouble sleeping ...

I'm normally a pretty good sleeper, except on Sundays when I've been out on the demon drink the night before ... I tend to jump like a salmon for a couple of hours before drifting off then

Anyway, we are now well entrenched in the house sale, boxing up of possessions, arranging invites to our leaving party, shipping goods, researching suburbs, booking flights and accommodation from the rock to Manchester, opening bank accounts, etc etc etc and too be totally honest ... its starting to affect my shut eye !

I'm a bit of a worrier anyway ... and now the enormity of the whole situation is starting to take hold. Will I be able to provide for my family when we arrive, will the boys and the wife settle, how homesick will we "really" be ... etc etc etc

When I have a quiet moment and actually take a look at what we are about to embark upon I start to cack myself ...

I know everyone's in the same boat BUT f**k me, it is majorly SCARY :scared:

Chill doll it will all fall into place when you get here.

what you are experiencing is normal and although it feels very scary just now in a couple of years you will look back and say IT WAS NOT THAT BAD LOL.

Think of what lies ahead as in terms of a better future.

Think positive and try to stay focussed.

wishing you all the best and a bloody good nights sleep.

Cheers, I think it's just a reality check ...

I guess all the family gatherings, parties and generally having a good time around Christmas got me thinking (stupidly)

I'm used to that sort of heat ...

The wife has about 15 hot water blankets as she calls them in bed with us at this time of year

This forum is fast becoming the flip-side forum to the Immigration forum in terms of people feeling ecstatic, euphoric and orgasmic about actually getting their visas granted.

Stiff upper lip old boy....
