Triathlon

I did the mini triathlon last year and I was surprised how easy it was. Worth getting your company to cough up for. They do one in each of the capitial cities.

The only down point is you have to wear budgie smugglers and a tight singlet.

The budgie smugglers bit IS alarming, but it sounds like fun : )

I have an ugly body so no way. It was bad enough seeing myself on the corporate intranet.

You mean you're not a bronzed 6ft, six-pack, pec-deck surfing machine? :D

More like 6 foot tall with uneven sun tan and empty six pack in the bin.;)

What about you Owieb?

What was your time BP?

It gives the winner last year at 1:47

That looks a bit slow (I mean a lot faster than I'd manage, but pretty slow for a winner).

The winner did it in about 30 mins if I remember rightly. I was about 55 mins. I was roped in with 2 weeks to go so my name is not up there. My aim then was to finish and this year will be 50 minutes.

I'm positive that I'm shrinking at the moment, I think it must be all the going in the water then drying out in the sun; seem to be about 5ft 10" now!

The six-pack has developed into a four-pack with a rubber ring; but the tan is ok, the only white bits I can find are between my toes! :D

Mr Bundy and I were watching some triathlon event on the TV the other day...I've long since thought that this might be something I'd like to try. I used to do tetrathlon and biathlon a few years back. Only problem is, Nundle doesn't have a triathlon event, being 400km from the sea!

The company is paying so I will have to start training and learn to swim without swallowing salt water. Pizza for dinner will start the training I think.

Mrs BP was more than happy to come along and watch. The company e-mail was awash with pics of us the following day:scared:

Training is done in boardies and t-shirt.
