Traveling to Australia tonight No ETA visa

Default Traveling to Australia tonight No ETA visa

I'm due to fly from Dublin to Melbourne at 22:25 tonight and I just realised I haven't applied for ETA visa , please tell me this won't be an issue .its only a few weeks vacation

Assuming you qualify, an eVisitor visa is usually issued more or less instantly - see eVisitor (subclass 651). Let us know how you get on.

You won't be allowed to board the plane without it so apply for it online now.

Of course it'll be an issue. Unless you are an Australian citizen you need a visa. Only Kiwis can get visas on arrival. You won't even be able to check in forthe flight.

Off to Australia again on Monday. Do I have to apply for the eta again or is the one I got in August still valid

It would be valid for 12 months from the date of issue, and with multipe entries permitted.

Could one suggest that maybe next time you travel you investigate ETAs/visas a little earlier? You have been lucky twice here, not every country has a system this quick, even just for tourist entry.

Your stopover destination might possibly issue one at the gate in about 1min flat without even telling you.
