Travel Insurance Question??

We are leaving in July, Noosa bound. This is the big trip!!

We are stopping in Dubai for one night and then on to oz, where we will be in Holiday accomodation for 2 weeks.

We wanted to know what kind of insurance we need to take out. Is it worth taking a couple of weeks travel insurance out or not???
If so who with??

Do British insurance companies have policies for this?

Help much appreciated.

Hi We are using Go walkabout as they can provide specialist 'emigration' travel insurance - others on the forum have recommended them - especially when things go wrong - apparantly they paid out quickly with no problems and even a little compassion. Think it cost us 80 pound for 2 adults and that covers your stopover (worldwide excl USA) and the first week I think it is while you settle in Australia.
