Try the Post Office.

They do a one way insurance, but they give you the option of increasing your personal possession allowance from £250 per item to £1000 per item for an extra £10. Total sum insured is £2500. Prices are around £32 for a couple at the basic rate for 3 days cover.

Hope this helps

We used www.insureandgo.com, we were covered for 24hrs after we arrived.Family of 4, cost was 39pounds.

Not sure about the limit but I am sure they will give you an option to upgrade, may be included in the usual rate tho.

We're travelling one way, via Hong Kong with a laptop and expensive camera, we're covered for our stopover. It cost £68.58 for the 2 of us and our expensive items. We used Down Under Insurance www.duinsure.com
