We were going to send them in the container however we have just had somebody round to give us a quote and they reckon 12-14 weeks door to door. My husband will need his tools pretty much till the last minute and thinks it will be too long to wait at the other end. Thinking about taking his 'essentials' in a suitcase and shipping the rest.
Has anybody transported anything by air frieght and is this expensive.

Thanks for that. My husband is a refrigeration and air con mechanic. We have discussed it and think that he may make up a tool box of 'essentials', that we will take as part of our luggage and either send the rest with the container. Trouble is, it will be alot of weight.
