Transporting Lithium batteries

It seems removalists will not transport lithium batteries for safety reasons.
This is an issue with sending belongings to Australia, specifically for ebikes, but also for portable vacuum cleaners, drills and other tools. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions? Taking the appliances without the batteries would be risky as we may not be able to get a compatible battery in Australia.
Thanks

Interesting. I initially thought hand luggage but an ebike battery is going to be at least 250wH so even looking at the Qantas site, they are saying send by freight. Qantas do freight. Maybe give them a call since it says on the own website.
