Hello fellow expats

Please could anyone help.....

I have finally got a visa to move to oz and am getting itchy feet to go but with exchange rates the way they are we may have to wait awhile.......

However, I have heard that if we moved over anyway we may not have to take our funds straight away and that we could leave them here to awit for a better rate - but what I don't know is, is there any tax :scared: implication with doing this and is there any time limit that applies that I have to transfer my funds within.

Any advice would be great thanx
