Training resource for IELTS general
 

Can anyone recommend a book to help me get at least 7 in all parts of the IELTS General test? I've bought this but it seems more geared towards the Acedemic test and way more info than I need

Just use google to find free practice questions, examples of writing question solutions at level 7, etc. You should be able to find plenty of free stuff without spending money.

Sounds like the type of thing that should be in the Wiki, given the number of times it must have been answered over the years.

Oh, and Lucus, you really ought to be targeting 8+ if you are a native speaker. Provided you know what to expect, and what tricks they pull, you should only come off a high score because you cocked up.

There are lots of free training resources online for IELTS General. You can take loads of practice tests online which are free.
