Training to become a primary school teacher in Brisbane

hi, we are moving to redcliffe (possibly) in march and I am planning on re training to become a primary school teacher, i have a degree and have worked for the last 15 years in the logistics industry - ready for a change. Can anyone recommend the best college for this and how long it will take etc - thanks !

You can study a post grad certificate in education. Takes about 9 months. There are s few unis that offer it (Griffith, Queensland University of Technology and University of Queensland are the ones that spring to mind). If you are here as a perm. resident you will pay reduced fees but will have to pay them up front rather than paying them back as a loan after you complete the course. If you are not a perm. resident you'll have to pay as an international student. Good luck
