Question Train from Melbourne to Adelaide

Hi everyone,

We'll be arriving in Australia on 9th FEB-06. Flight is from Dubai to Melbourne but our final destination is Adelaide. I was wondering is there any web site for checking the schedules and fares of TRAIN SERVICE between different cities of Australia.

One option is that we can get a connected flight from Melbourne to Adelaide but I think it would be nice if we use the train instead.

Any links ?

Ghanghro.

Going by train in Oz is not like France for example, it's more at a slow pace, though very nice.

I'd get the flight, probably cheaper as well, you can do all the train stuff etc when you have settled in, lets face it after a long flight you just wanna get to your locaiton in double quick time and av a nice cuppa tea
