TRA for picture framer with degree
Hi,
Im currently self employed as a canvas print and frame manufacturer, Im sure I meet the criteria for frame maker - 60 points...
I have 3 years experience in this (self employed)
I dont have an apprentiship in this, but I do have a bsc hons degree in product design, a large part of my degree was designing and making things from wood, plastics and using tools relevant to picture frame manufacturing/design.
Ive read about the need to have aqf level three or higher... does this mean that with my degree i need to have the apprentiship and or aqf ? a little confused...
if someone could shed some light on what i require and/or if my degree would be relevant or meet the aqf level 3 requirements....
thanks,
Karl
