My mate is just starting to fill in forms. :scared: Has anyone filled out the form relating to this trade. Any help would be much appreciated.

Take a look at this site, it's for Canadian immigration requirements but explains the duties better than anything else you'll find.

When filling in the forms it asks you to recount how you do your job. I filled a couple of pages listing the things I did on a daily basis eg. setting out measuring up etc. You need to list all the tools you use and what you use them for, list different types of adhesive [it's called glue here] describe cutting using hand and power tools, you cannot give to much info when you do this statement as I've said before a lay person reading your job description should be able to go and follow your detailed description and be able to attempt your job.
I have the criteria lists for both ceramic tiling and bricklaying so if anyone needs them I can scan them in and post them on a web page.

My mates just starting the process and is a bit intimidated with the forms.
I'm applying as a carpenter and joiner myself.

What ive seen on building sites is the only thing you need to be a tiler ,is to be Italian.
