Default TRA Application Form

Do my references from my employer need to be certified or can I send the originals? I can easily get another copy with the same information from my employers should I need one for later use. Would I need one for later use during the application process?

cheers

Ian

To be on the safe side, its probably best if you get your references certified. After all the hard work that you have put in, it would be so demoralising if they were to get lost in transit. Some solicitors will only charge around £35-£50 to do this. A small price to pay. Don't gamble, play safe and good luck.

safer bet is to just get them certified... some solicitors only charge about 5 or 10 quid for the privilege... although mine did charge £30 cos there were quite a few other docs as well...

i have made the mistake in the past of sending original docs, thinking i'll not need them again, and then finding out i do!

play it safe, have them certified!!! and keep originals wrapped up safe...

cheers, honeybob...

I dont think it costs that much? we got 5 docs certified for £15 by our solicitor,He usually charges £5 quid per certified doc but must have took pity on us as the bill was sky high at the end for everything we needed done!
Everything you send, i would take photocopys of & if originals are needed elsewhere just explain your situation.
Donna.
