hi all, right i have tried this immigrating stuff by going through a company called the emmigration group in chester, and what a load of rubbish they are. they are just after your money, so i sacked them. so i am now thinking of going about it on my own, or could any here recommend another company, that works. so for now if i go this myself where do i get the TRA forms from. i wish i found this site before i went to the emmi group. i feel a bit more positive about getting over there now after read this forum. marty

If you are thinking of going it alone there's lots of advice on this site and also www.pomsinperth.com . On that site Steve O'Neil from a migration company in Perth answers your queries both on the site and by e mail. He helped my application through that site and Ive always found his advice to be spot on. Good Luck

I've never really understood why people use emigration companies in the first place.

Is there something I'm missing here?

What a fantastic site! It's so good to see a bunch of ex-pats clubbing together to give their fellow Brits a helping hand; terrific stuff! :)
