Top-up Super
Is now a good time to top-up my Superannuation fund with some surplus cash that I have lying around?

Buy a portfolio of Indonesian or Burmese shares.... Let me know how you go 
Probably as good a bet as any though.
Wish I had the guts to do it.... In fact Im as sure they'll work as I was about the Chinese market 7 years back.
If I'd have stuck the excess in my Line of Credit back on Chinese shares 7 years back I'd be a multi millionaire today.

If you're talking about money that's already had tax paid on it (at a rate higher than 15%) then by putting it into your super before June 30 you should be able to get some tax back - as long as all the payments into super for the tax year (including the employer 9%) doesn't exceed $25,000.
