we leave 12th April... so time is running out. We will (hopefully) have sold our car by tomorrow (friend is buying it!!).. so will be using delightful public transport to get around...

although we are still stuck with selling our house.. masses of viewings but not a bite at all

We are spending next weekend in London (by train), visiting some of Hubby's family.. and Kew Gardens and hopefully I will squash in a little shopping!!

and then it's train and bus around here in the SW..

we also spending as much time as poss. seeing family and friends here..

We've just doe Eurodisney with the kids - trust us to pick the coldest start to March in living memory :scared: Snow everwhere and temperature mostly below or around freezing. Mind you it did mean that instead of queing 30 mins for a ride it would be nearer 30 secs!

Have fun with all the things you want to do - a few on our list include

London Eye
London sites in general so the kids can say they've been there
Visits to relatives/friends etc
London Triathlon (for me - before I am too old )
Short breaks to Europe/New York?

Well, we`re leaving 1st of June. Just checked out when Meatloaf is on and we`ll be in Perth by the time he starts... otherwise would have liked to see him at Leeds Castle (next door to us).

We have decided to do this before we go:

London Eye.
Natural History Museum.
British Museum.
Tower of London.
Shaftesbury (to see my wife`s nan`s grave for the last time... our daughter is named after her).
Bath.
plus off to central France for 4 days in a couple of weeks.

If anyone get`s the chance, go to Rome before leaving this hemisphere.... cheap Ryanair flight and decent-price accom. Nothing compares to the Forum and many other sights of Rome. We were sick with Gastro (caught in the UK) for most of our 5 days but managed to get a day and a bit in at least.

Otherwise Carcassonne (southern France) is a must-see as well.
