They don't work on the standard TomTom units. You won't find them online - only the mobile/PDA/Symbian versions. And since the maps for the actual TomTom units are backed up by a serial key which requires activating at ttcode.com - your only real option is to buy them.

there are ways to get round this too... by using keygens and the like... as long as you can read SD cards on your pc of course..... takes a little more working out thats all... comes in handy for backups etc fo course...

Hi , We also have a Tom Tom ONE - UK & Ireland - with all the bells and whistles! We would be happy to swap cards for an Australian one if any one is coming back to the UK/Ireland!

I have a tomtom classic and the torrents are a good way to go, using the keygen of course!

Or

There's some one selling them on ebay with the activation codes on SD (not for PDA's though) for i think £50.

The Australia map is actually less memory then my UK map.

Regards
Chris.

Its the size of the sd card mate not the actual unit, you can make a copy of your original to hard drive then buy a new sd card with bigger memory and add loads more add ons, voices, speed cameras etc..
