Re: Toilet seats

I honestly thought this was going to be the same thread vein as the "beasties" one and you wanted to know if we all checked the loo seats for spiders before we sat down!!!

Sorry Loads of Laughing - not at you - The loos I sit on look the same - fittings I am sure can be found in any hardware store to change over. Plumber correct me if I am wrong.

Being nosey - what kind of loos seats are that expensive - the see through ones with Man U etc?

cheers

Hi Jasmin

I saw those for sale when I was in Oz five years ago, they also had ones with razor
blades and barbed wire inside a clear plastic resin like stuff. So presumably it's
the same people making them and they'd be one size fits all!

Cheers

Re: Toilet seats

I had a good laugh reading this thread.

In this newsgroup take a look at concerns of different people....there is a group going mad waiting for their VISA while there is another worrying about schools, another about housing, yet another about work and taxes and on and on..... BUT THE CONCERN IN THIS THREAD HERE WINS HANDS DOWN....

Jasmin, no offense meant.

On an average, I spend much lesser time on the pot than Ive spent here reading this thread and replying to it.....

Enjoy your fancy fittings.

Cheers

I would imagine that if the seat is a bog standard size, then it should fit anywhere!

Re: Toilet seats

Indeed an interesting question. I don't really know the honest answer, but they
look the same.

I work as a Mechanical Engineer. If I were designing a toilet seat anywhere in the
world, I would have it fit the average size of the local backside. Sooo, I believe
the real question is are the behinds down here the same as those in your homeland. As
I say above, my guess is yes.

Cheers,

Ed.

Re: Toilet seats

i'm a plumber(proffesional toilet mechanic)

the 2 bolts that secure thru the pan are adjustable,so u can make the space wider or narrower to fit most toilets, measure the space between your bolts, then ask an ozzy to measure theirs,
if its close ,it should fit
