Time window for Medicals request

Time window for Medicals request
Hi All,
We have been asked to get medicals and Police checks, unfortunatly we did not receive the email request because of an internet server problem not delivering all emails to us. The request for medicals was dated 20th Dec 2006 to be returned completed by 17th Jan 2007 (today). We are not able to get the medicals done until next week. Has anybody else had
a request for meds with such a small period to get them completed?
We have emailed the visa people in Aus advising them of the delayed request due to the email problem, but they have not replied back with info regarding this time window. (only an automated reponse saying email received and being forwarded to case officer). Do case officers have their own email address?
Any advise would be appriciated.
PS The email problem is a Microsoft / Outlook Express Problem. Which Microsoft are trying to resolve, emails store on your servers email site and can be viewed from their site on your email page.

We also only had 28 days to get medicals and pcc's done, we have an agent so we asked if they could ask our CO for an extension as we couldnt get our medicals booked in until they were almost due!!! Have you now received the email from your CO? if so you should have their name and email (I think?) so you could ask the same as our agent did.

We have sent an email to Dimia but have not had any reply, only automated.
Hope we used correct emal address to them.
We have had no contact at all from or with our CO, so been unable to get his direct email address, we do have his name though.
Do you know why they want the meds done so quickly?
They do not seem to be replying to anything.
