I know this has probably been done before but, what's the timescale from offer to completion in WA?

Just brought our first house, and it takes 6 - 8weeks from start to finish. Its quick here. Once offer is excepted, then this is a binding contract, and it really is upto you then, how quick things progress. There are no slow solicitors here. |

It depends on the situation with your finance, if you are a cash buyer it can be as quickly as the paperwork can be done, i've known it done in 14 days but not less. If your offer is submitted subject to finance you are entitled to 21 days from the date the last signature goes on your offer and acceptance to get your finance sorted out, you can ask for an extension but they are not duty bound to give it. Settlement date is usually set at 3 weeks from then, or by mutual arrangement. Always bear in mind though that settlememt may not always happen on the day, it can often be held up so you should never arrange to be homeless on the day you are scheduled to settle.
