Time to process

When DIMIA quotes 50+ weeks to process, how much of that, is actual processing time ?? Are the applications lying on someone's desk for weeks and months ? Can any one throw light on how many man-hours or days does a case officer actually work on your application ?? Just wondering about the long delays......

It is anyones guess!
It seems that the applications arrive and then go on the bottom of a large pile where they sit, untouched for at least 8 months. I expect each case officer has a huge number to process and only one pair of hands - or else they are just lazy and prefer to nip down to the beach early afternoon instead....
Seriously, I am sure that they have thousand of new applications arriving each week and a lot of them are probably complete rubbish- remember they have to sift through the good and the bad.

The best advice is - learn to be patient, you will need it!!

DIMIA is getting a substantial sum AS$1745 with each application and
applicant is spenting other amt , which is good fig for ave earner .

than why this apathy , what is their objective , if they r seriou than 1 file takes not more than 2 hrs to examine documents and another 2 month to cfor verification .

even if someone gets pr on false recordes , they have to face law and jail. then why this delay.
