Hi everyone,

How much time do I have to move into Australia when I'm granted an offshore skilled independent pr? Which one is faster, onshore or offshore applications? Do i have to submit photographs of my family members (parents & brother) even though they are not migrating?

Usually you have 12 months from the date of your police checks/medicals [whichever were done first] to validate your visa
No you don't have to send pics of non migrating family members

Generally, 12 months from either the date you got your medical tests done or the date of your police checks, whichever is earlier. If a health undertaking was requested from you, you will usually only be given 6 months from the date you took your medical tests.

It depends on your subclass. Usually, onshore applications are processed more quickly than most offshore applications.
