timber resin
 
i know this is a strange question for an expat's website, just hope someone can help.
hubby alan has been using hardwood to form studding in our renovation and when he saws the wood it stains everything including his hands!
al has tried swarfega, washing powder, soap, bleach, nail polish remover etc. etc.
can anyone help with a solution?

the resin is called tanin, its natural resin that bleeds from the timber when its worked ..
this indicates that the wood is not ready to be used ...
