Default Tim Tams & other trivia

Have just tried the new Tia Maria Tim tams - gorgeous! Bit of controversy at the moment though as they do contain alcohol & there is a debate about whether this is likely to affect children eating these biccies. Simple solution - let the mummies eat them all!! Just looked at the packet & alcohol is the last listed ingredient & they contain less than 0.1%. Arnotts have just introduced another biccie with kahula (?) in too. Next weeks shopping treat!

Standing in the pharmacy I had to laugh at a poster on the wall. It said "let us flavour your medicine". To take away the nasty taste of some medicines you can have it flavoured. The list of 27 flavours read more like an ice cream parlour list.....chocolate pie, blueberry..........etc.

I can't believe how sweet a lot of foods are over here, there seems to be sugar in almost everything. The mayo is particularly disgusting. Not good.

What next? Well, driving home listening to the news 200 unemployed peeps are to be given mobile phones with $25 credit to help them find a job!

Just a bit of Oz Friday trivia for you!

Have a good weekend all

Loopy

I heard on the radio that you would have to eat your own bodyweight in biccies for the alcohol to even be detected.

I don't like Tia Maria though

The problem these "wowsers" have is not the alcohol content, but the fact that the kiddies are going to enjoy the floavour of the biscuits and go and get p155ed on a bottle of Kahlua or Tia Maria.... mmm that sound like fun!
