2004 - The English are the World Champions and the Australians are the whingers!!
About time the Queen said she wanted nothing more to do with the losers.

Hi SRowland,
WOW what a match, coming down to the last 20 seconds!!
I still can't believe it. It kept me on the edge of my seat.
Australia were good, and it was a tight match.
They both did well, but only one team could win.
Bye all

I would love to be there at the moment - the banter between us poms and the ozzies would be fantatstic.
I would really enjoy rubbing their noses in it

There were some sore Aussies last night. One bloke was asking if I was a tourist and tried to say Englands win meant less bexause I was a resident. A few who were clueless about rugby claimed it was only because of JW. As if the other 14 players did nothing and what is wrong with having the best kicker in the world.
As for WBB see your treatment on here as training for when you get to Oz. The shit you are getting now is nothing compared to what we get when England lose.

The seventies was too long ago for me and Welsh rugby seems to be increasingly overshadowed by football. This is evidenced by yourself.
