Default Thunder and Lightning

We have a cracking storm going on overhead.
A couple of lightning bolts have just shook the house

The sound is amazing.

It's not raining much here, I am watching it on the radar, but the main part will pass us by again...

I'll be out watering the garden in the morning, unless it gets a move on for us here...

Tree speared a house in Taringa last night missing the occupant by a few feet.

We lost power briefly so unplugged stuff to avoid damage.

I think there's another due in Brisbane this evening

I think (for what it's worth) that this will be the pattern from now until the end of March

It's remarkable really - perfect (if humid) days followed by ferocious storms in the early evening

Highlight of the week!

It missed us again.....

It's like the parting of the waves here in Victoria Point, watching this big blob of red on the Radar, but just before it reaches us, it divides in two, half going above us, and half below.

I was hoping it would top the pool up for me.

Taringa is just over the hill from us....I knew the storm was close....we could feel the house shake.
