After 10. Years of earning and spending the aussie $ you'd expect some one to have settled and adjusted wouldnt you?

There is NO going back for us... Its not happening, cant afford it, and frankly what would we go back to???

Its NOT a land of milk and honey... But then where is?

If you find out, please let me know... Actually dont bother... We're here now and making the best of it...

There are lots of reasons for this, Australia has become much more expensive in recent times and for a very large number of people wages haven't kept pace. There is the pull of friends, family and familiarity. Australia is not some sort of Utopia, times are tough and in all probability will get tougher for many.
