If you are bored and think your life is pointless, then that's your issue not Perth's. I live in Perth and don't think my is pointless.

I've been shot at by an AK47 - it ain't fun.

If the chance of catching Malaria makes your life non-pointless then party on.

Many guys from Perth are heading to Africa, the knowledge is here and they need it there.

Thanks, but no thanks.

A friend of ours from Aberdeen who used to live here in Perth got a job in Nigeria. His aim was to go for 6 months, make a load of cash which would speed his return to Perth. He lasted less than a month before he went back to Scotland. He said it was the biggest hole he had ever lived and worked in and no amount of money would compensate.

Hilarious, Aberdeen may not be everyones cup of tea but surely on a quality of life scale eclipses Nigeria.
