Hi ,
Im new to this site and after lots of talking me and my partner are thinking about taking the plunge , but before we get our hopes up to much , is there anyone out there that can tell me if being epileptic would affect my chances of being able to emigrate ? I take regular medication (epilem) and havent had a fit for 10-15 years ? would be great if someone can tell me :)

Not really sure myself either. But having grown up with a Mum who had this I know that if it's treated properly it won't affect your ability to work and support yourself. I think the main problem is convincing the Aus Authorities of that (although it may not even be an issue, I really don't know)

I would suggest you speak with either Alan Collett or George Lombard from this site, they will both be able to advise you I think - to be fair to them though I think you should consult them in a professional capacity off forum. :)
