How to get a parcel to travelling son
Hi,
My son is currently travelling from Perth to Port Lincoln. I need to get a parcel to him but he has no fixed abode at present. Can anybody suggest how I might achieve this? For example, is it possible to post the parcel to Port Lincoln post office?
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks
Colin

Post Restante services but only to major cities I think http://www.tickettotheworld.co.uk/backpacking_australia/poste_restante.php

You could post it to a TNT parcel depot for him to collect.

Yes he can, he has to sign up for MyPost which is free. I think you will need a residential Australian address to fill in the form though. Hopefully between you that can be arranged. They will hold the parcel at any designated post office you choose for Ten Days.

Once he is onboard Mypost he will be able to receive parcels all the way around Australia. Port Lincoln is one of the best places I've visited in Australia. The great thing about there, is they will definitely have the time and the inclination to explain the whole process in detail to him. Unlike the busy major cities, who generally have a 5 minute or more queue waiting in line, which doesn't really endear them to answering questions they feel can be looked up online. Port Lincoln and the excellent people in that city have plenty of time for all tourists though.
