Sam
Will have to disagree with the toilet roll issue and a few other items, we got 12 rolls for the equivalent of £3.60 on special. This being the word to identify most things can be found cheaper or similar in price ( look out for the specials lol) depending which place you shop. Such as meat, this can be expensive however if brought from a local farmer it can be cheaper i was offered a whole lamb for just over $100.
Brand name nappies are slightly more expensive, so we've tried alternate ones which are just as good and cheaper.
The two most expensive things i have come across is proper UK cadbury's chocolate and tinnys are expensive .
I believe the way to reduce the cost is shop around, look for the specials in the local flyers, try alternatives and ask an ozzy if they now where to get it cheaper lol.

Wonder how many are cancelling their visa application due to price of toilet rolls.

Why don't you do what we used to do in the 'olden' days - use old newspaper. The Saturday Age has enough supplements to last the week. The Domain usually does us through until Wednesday (Monday if we have visitors). You can then kill two birds with one stone - educating yourself with the news and then recycle it!

What do you mean no class? The Age is a very classy paper - it could be worse, we could use the Herald Sun!!!!!
