Things to do on holiday in Perth in Springtime
Going to Perth for a couple of weeks in Spring for a holiday and visiting family in Mandurah and Cottisloe.
What would anyone recommend as days out etc?
We have 2 x 10 year old girls who love animals, so we were thinking Rottnest Island for the Quokkas.
What other things might be good for us as a family?
Thanks

Up near me in the hills there are some great walks that would be perfect for springtime. The bush is lovely at that time and there is loads of wildlife. There is a Camel farm near Kalamunda that is fun. You can park up and do some nice walking around the area
Penguin Island near Rockingham is a good option

Hi,
Head down to the Swan Valley Wine Region, it has lovely countryside where you can see all sorts of animals, Vineyards, Margaret River chocolate factory which lets you try and buy their chocolate and also has a great café there. Supa Golf which is a really fun day and suitable for all ages (I don't even like golf but is really is a fun day) and of course the Swan River. This region is really one of Perth's best area's for a different day out. Have fun Perth is lovely in Spring.

If you can spare the time head to the Margaret River region. In particular Eagle Bay is spectacular and Ngigli Caves (Yallingup) fabulous for the kids.
