paradise wouldn't have box jellyfish

Nice pics though, the falls where a trickle last time I went, did you do the rafting on the Tully river, that was one of the highlights for me

Fantastic photos. Brings back memories of when we went to Cairns a couple of years ago. We did the train ride to Kurunda too.

Firstly I'd say consider going to Green Island rather than Fitzroy.
Fitzroy is more the unspoilt wilderness type place but little to do there except walk.
Depends what you all like to do of course.
A day trip to the Tablelands or Daintree is worthwhile.
This site gives some good ideas.....

I would have thought a day, sitting in a cafe on The Esplanade, thinking of all those lucky people elsewhere in the world would be pretty good idea.

If coffee intolerant, try a day on any beach north to Port Douglas.
