Impossible to say as by the time you were in the market things could have changed a lot. At the moment, neither are well paid. That may improve or may get worse.

Really. I know Environmental Scientists in Sydney earning $160,000. I'd say that was very livable $$$$ for Sydney. That's with 15 years experience.

Really?

I put an add in seek last December for a degree qualified enviro to work Fifo paying little over minimum wage and was swamped.

One of my best friends in oz has just taken a new enviro role and is earning $78k for fifo another who is a senior level enviro with 20 years experience has not been able to get an interview for a year and what jobs she has come across are paying peanuts.
