Is there a risk ?
Just wondering what the risk is with regards creepy crawlies etc?
What do the kids need to be told?
Here although I hate spiders, the kids climbing frame is covered in webs and spiders and I don't think too much of having to wipe the spiders, webs etc off before the kids go out to play ! The kids walk barefoot round the garden in the summer (ok so we won't mention the british weather this year but they normally do when it's sunny and warm)
What would they be at risk from creepy crawly wise in Melbourne and what do we need to know and tell them?
From a creepy crawly phobic lol

Have you not seen the other creepy crawlie threads?
When we went on our reccie, I just warned my girls to shake out shoes, clothing etc; and not to be hysterical when they see a huntsman...
Luckily they didn't OH had a whitetail looking spider running along the edge of the bath when he was in it !!
I think there may be more c.c's in the summer than winter but not sure
