Hi

Don't know if it's any help but I had a kidney removed end January 2006 and was given the okay to fly to Hong Kong on 1 May 2006.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

I don't think anyone medical (or nursing - like me) would be prepared to give you a definitive answer on a board like this, not knowing you and your condition..... but I know a man who can

Depends upon the method they use (there is more than one method for hysterectomy) and your personal recovery time/ any foreseeable/ unforeseeable complications...... give your consultant's secretary a ring, they really wont mind ..... and ask the question... or if your consultant has an attached nurse specialist then ask to speak to her/him....

The answer you get may also depend on short/long haul etc etc etc

Please remember people aren't off the peg, we are all different,

Hi,

I had abdominal hysterectomy last June and was advised not to fly long haul for 3 months .. not sure if that is standard advice.

best wishes

sarah
